Bike to Work Challenge Advisory Group

One of Active Transportation Alliance’s commitments is to build a movement. The Bike to Work Challenge Advisory Group is part of this movement to get more folks on their bikes.

We thank the following organizations that have joined the inaugural Bike to Work Challenge Advisory Group. These organizations are celebrating cycling in Chicago by setting up a Bike to Work Challenge Team, and encouraging new and experienced riders to commute to work by bike while creating a friendly competition. They are also encouraging their peers, friends and other organizations to participate in the Challenge. Many of the inaugural members have hosted teams for many years and others are launching their very first team.

These organizations recognize that participation in the Bike to Work Challenge:

  • Helps lower staff’s transportation carbon footprint
  • Provides an opportunity for each staff member to improve one’s health through physical activity
  • Builds teamwork for staff members and friendly competition with peer organizations
  • Demonstrates their support for cycling to current and prospective employees.
